How to read a row

  • Referring domain is a site that links to the competitor and has no link to your domain in this index.
  • Rank is the DataForSEO score from 0 to 1000. A higher rank is a stronger referring domain in their index.
  • Backlinks and linking pages count links from that domain to the competitor.
  • Spam score is the index average for those links. A high score is a reason to skip the domain in outreach.

What is a competitor backlink gap?
A competitor backlink gap is the set of sites that link to a competitor and do not link to you. Those domains are the usual starting list for outreach.
What is a link intersect?
A link intersect compares referring domains across two sites. This preview keeps the domains that intersect the competitor and miss your domain.
How many rows are free?
The free preview returns at most 20 referring domains. The full list is a link-gap report credit on the pricing page.
Where do the rows come from?
When DataForSEO credentials are set on the server, rows come from the DataForSEO Backlinks index. Rank is their 0–1000 score. When those credentials are missing, the results table stays empty. A separate block marked Example uses reserved .example domains and is not live backlink data.
Does the preview charge a card?
